If you are watching for excitement, noise and more excitement than you can stomach, then craps is the casino game to play.
Craps is an exciting casino game with high-rollers, low-rollers, and everyone in the middle. If you are a people-watcher this is one casino game that you’ll want to watch. There is the high roller, playing with a big amount of money and making boisterous announcements when he wagers across the board, "five hundred and twenty across," you’ll hear him exclaim. He’s the gambler to watch at this table and he understands it. They’ll either succeed big or don’t win big and there is no in between.
There is the low-roller, maybe attempting to acquaint himself with the high-roller. He will tell the other individuals of books he has read on dice setting and hover around the hottest player at the craps table, ready to confer and "pick each others brains".
My favourite people at the table are the true chaps from the days gone by. These aging guys are ordinarily tolerant, commonly gentle and will almost always offer tricks from the "good old days."
There are a good many other characters that you’ll notice around a crowded Craps table. When you take the plunge and determine to participate in the game, make sure you utilize good etiquette. Find a position on the rail and place your $$$$ in front of you in the "come" space. Don’t ever do this when the dice are being tossed or you’ll become known as the last character I am going to mention, the jerk.
